That's the reality which we are living in; We can't avoid it. A lot of products, enterprises, brands are coming to our lives and we are living with them every day. It's a process that is not going to stop. for me, the important thing is to be aware of what is or isn't good and we should also know the consequences of this.
To my mind in the process of globalization communities/countries would lose cultural autonomy. Globalization involves both positive and negatives changes which enforces us to embrace new standards of living. We will become dependent on buying things that are not consumer staples.
I think globalization has many important points like communication, economy but it doesn't help to people that want making new companies. That's a factor of poverty in our society.
This video couldn't express better the reality!. We are a globalized world and we are proud of it. A lot of us ( I include myself) prefer brands like Nike, Macdonald's and others instead of nationals. It's just the wave we're moving in! :D
